* We have collected a total of B$678.50 for Derma Tabung Insaniah Mangsa Gempa Bumi Iran from parents. The money has been sent to the Treasury Office under the Ministry of Education on the 14th July. To all parents who supported, thank you very much for your kind generosity. May Mighty Allah bless you and your family.
April 2003
* Together with the Kemuda Institute, Learning Tree School will be bringing to its students the Cambridge Starters Award in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Learning Tree School will be the first in Brunei to give internationally recognized certificates to the students in ICT at an early age. The scheme will be aimed at students in Primary 4 and above.
* ECA will start from Friday 4th April @ 02:00-04:00 pm.
* For a select few who are identified in needing extra help, the ECA period will be used for extra classes in Maths and English.
January 2003
* 2002 sees the introduction of Primary 4 classes.
April 2002

* The website has undergone some improvements, especially to the interface in the Gallery.
* 1st April : A group of Japanese came on a visit to the school. Hiroshi Saito, Tamiko Saito, Kuniko Ota and Miharu Nishi are from Shinboku Nursery School located in Shingu City, Wakayama in Japan. They were accompanied by Lee Siew Hung who helped arranged their visit. The main purpose of the visit was to learn about how kindergartens are operated outside of Japan and to interact with the local children and teachers.
* 4th April : Awards were presented to winners of the DSTCom Disney on Ice colouring competition at DST Yayasan building.

March 2002

* Be sure to catch "Klik, Klik, Klik" on the 17th March on RTB for a short feature on Learning Tree School.
* 29th-31st March : IBB SME Exhibition at the Setia Kenangan Complex in Kiulap. LTS had a booth there.

1st January 2002
* 2002 sees the introduction of Primary 3.
New location arrangements:-
Primary block: Primary 1, 2 and 3.
Kindergarten block: Nursery, KG 1 & 2.
The main office is now relocated to the Primary block.
* For the Primary classes, optional ECA's will be introduced every Friday at no extra cost. It will consist of singing, dancing, acting and public speaking. For a select few who are identified in needing extra help, the ECA period will be used for extra classes in Maths and English.
8th January 2001
* New expansion of Learning Tree School at No. 4, Taman Mawarni, Spg 442, Jln Kebangsaan Lama (just next to the current Learning Tree). This is to accomodate the new Primary classes. The new building will house Primary 1, Kindergarten 2 and the new Primary 2, whereas the current Learning Tree will house Nursery and Kindergarten 1 classes. All Primary classes are now in the morning.
13th March 2000
* There will be a colouring competition organised by DSTCom and Lucent Technologies. Learning Tree School has been chosen to participate with a number of other schools in this competition. From Learning Tree School, six winners (only students from KG 1, KG 2 or Primary 1 are eligible) will be selected to receive a prize each. The prize sponsored by DSTCom and Lucent Technologies is a free ticket to the Disney On Ice show : 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'. The lucky winners will also then be able to purchase two additional tickets to the same show for B$30.00.
March 2000
* Integrated computer lessons to be introduced to Primary 1 students. Lessons are taught at the school by trained teachers from Setia IT Training Centre. The taught syllabus is approved by the Curriculum Department, Ministry Of Education, Negara Brunei Darussalam and accredited by the National Computer Centre (NCC) of the United Kingdom.
